Lmao the price of the map pack in the remaster has almost practically caught up to the inflation since the release of the original game. Not exactly but close enough it almost the same.

The Remastered version was developed by Raven Software. In association with Beenox which later developed Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled about 3 years after the released of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered as part of the special edition bundles of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare before A standalone version was released.

I thought the nuke scene was better in the original. This one doesn't have the same impact.

Atleast they added bots into splitscreen MP.. was really hope you were gonna talk about that, and because of that, i can't play the original no more.

My verdict: stay away MWR and just play classic Call of duty Modern warfare 4 where you can escape from loot boxes and microtransactions (unless it's the map packs which to me is fine)

I want to like this game, but whenever I play this game, I play with Bots so it can feel like the original COD4, and it a shame that right now there's hackers in the original COD4 now. If they want to add guns in the game, they should have add DLC guns list so they don't have to waste their money, and REAL GUNS, NOT BOS14 Crap!

Hey DW, Do u think remastered games are a good thing or it’s just a cash grab

    Posted April 11, 2020 5:36 am

Thannnnnnk you! Subbd. At first I wouldn't buy it cuz it was bundled to infinite. Then it went solo, and it wanted me to pay for the map pack AGAIN lol. I loled. And never thought about it again. Then found out it had micro transactions that added weapons from other cods. I loled again, and new I'd never own that trash. I game shared with my bro that had it, and even without gamesharing, I haven't had any interest in it. I've seen and liked a select 20 vids by you recently. Top notch mostly unbiased work. Super commendable. Keep it up! I'd love to see something socom like. Of you've heard of socom.

Funny how MWR was seen as something that would have brought COD back to basics and get everyone playing it again but in the end it died faster than IW the game that was suppose to fail.
The devs and the pubs didn't help at all by doing what they did to it, killing it even faster.
Steam charts show it as the least played COD and I've seen the player count reach 0 at times.
I didn't buy into it at the time as I still play COD4X and it's amazing, not as big as it used to be but the community keeps it going and graphics are fine.
I guess it's played more on console as COD4 is last gen but still.
MWR2 possibly? Wonder if people learned their lesson? Or more importantly, has Activision?

How the hell did Raven Software go from Star Wars: Voyager – Elite Force, Jedi Outcast, and Soldier of Fortune to…this?

Is there going to be an Infinite Warfare review coming soon? And also, great work as always, very honest and detailed review!

39,99€ for a remaster that has less content than the original version, no dedicated servers and micro transactions. Amazing, Activision you're so incredibly greedy it's baffling.

At first I thought you were exaggerating about the horrible sound effects but nope…you were telling the truth. Holy shit they sound so fucking terrible, how did someone sign off on that? Somewhere out there someone listened to that garbage and said "yep we got it, this is good" wtf.

You know what I was seriously thinking about buying this off of eBay for however much it was being sold for my PS4 Slim. After watching this video however….HELL NAH!!! Thank you DW for letting everybody know just how Fucking Greedy Activision is compare to even EA. Speaking of EA I think I'll buy that Ulitmate Edition of Star Wars Battlefront that has all the DLC for wait for it (drumroll) $5.04 on PSN.

What's crazy is that when I occasionally play Black Ops, there are over 7k global players on the 360… if the in game counter can be trusted. That game is pretty old at this point but yet the remaster can't even come close. Granted we are talking PC vs console and mutiple generations but still.

It's a shame that more people haven't picked up this remaster. I know he mentioned some problems but I think most people refuse to pick up the game over some "moral" protest due to the initial bundling and backtracking. Seriously, get over it. No one cares about your stupid statement. It makes zero difference. If the game is fun, just buy it and have fun.

All the Call of Duty games I've played had really disappointing sfx. It's weird that they spend so much effort making everything look the part but with sound they're just like ''eh, fuck it. Everyone's gun goes pew pew pew.''

So it released standalone? Thought they said it was always gonna be bundled? Typical Activision
