Can you tell me what is your latest driver version on the gpu?
I have been facing problems with updating my GPU driver and is currently running on version 376.54 because whenever I try to update to the latest drivers, it says that driver is incompatible but I am sure that I downloaded the right specs. Wondering if this is a common issue faced by 820m owners?
I'm surprised, because my Laptop ASUS, (i5 6° generation, 8 gb RAM, 500 gb Hard Disk, Geforce 820m), can run GTA V with 50 fps… 😂😂. But, in july i'll make a mid tower PC, because this is Obsolet and Full Virus!!😡
Hey there, GT 820M user as well. Can anyone help me? My GPU has started thermal throttling when it reaches temperatures above 90°C. I didn't have this problem before. Just days ago, I opened my laptop and cleaned 95% of the dust as well and still no change. I play GTA V and Fortnite and both games run very well at 768p with low settings at 40-55 fps but frames drop to 5-10 for 2-3 times in 10 seconds when my laptop fan starts to run fast and temperature comes down to 78ish and again reaches 90+ and gpu underclocks itself again and it keeps happening. All games have become a mess for me. I don't even have money to buy a new laptop. I tried MSI Afterburner and other softwares for fan speed but my laptop doesn't allow me to manually set fan speed. I tried undervolting the CPU (with Intel XTU) and it didn't change anything as well. I need help PLEASE

Honestly, after playing for 30 fps on console, even 24 fps doesn't feel bad, I mean i am okay with 24+ fps but I hate stutter lags…. The overall slow game is something else but stutter lag is much worse
